Shacklocks and the Lexcel Quality Standard
13.10.2010
Shacklocks are pleased to announce that we have recently undergone the annual audit of our Lexcel quality accreditation, which is awarded by the Law Society to those firms demonstrating high standards of client care and practice management.
This year’s report was particularly gratifying as it identified a number of areas of good practice which go beyond the requirement for the standard itself. In particular the assessor commented on the quality of our business planning and our commitment to the principle of continuous improvement that is a strong part of our culture. The assessor was also particularly pleased to note our approach to data protection and the way in which our staff are kept updated on that topic.
Particular praise was given for our Progression Framework which was launched this year and which provides our qualified staff with a clearly documented career path and which forms an important part of our future business planning.
Following receipt of the Report, Managing Partner Martin Fallows commented that the partners were particularly pleased with the way in which the assessor had identified a number of areas where considerable work and time have been spent during the last year with the aim of continuing to develop our practice to enable us to retain our competitive advantage both now and through the years to come.
